Annually BMDCR honors member dogs' achievements such as new titles at the January meeting and Awards Banquet. Also, a club member who has contributed significantly to the club and its goals is honored with the Kathy Roth Award: "In the spirit of love and dedication given the Bernese Mountain Dog by founding President Kathy Roth, this honor is awarded to those who share her passion and continue her vision."
